Progresso Super You (plus a review and a giveaway

To help kick off a new outlook on the New Year, Progresso is excited to announce the return of the "Souper You™ Debut" contest! From January 3rd through March 16th. You can enter by going to Progresso on facebook,
You can  enter for the chance to win a full makeover in New York City.To help promote this giveaway I was contacted by Progresso  through Blog Spark to review their lite products. I was sent New England Clam Chowder, Santa Fe Style Chicken, Vegetable & Noodle, Chicken Noodle & Beef Pot Roast.

Let me first profess, that I am already a lover of Progressive soup but have not tried any of their lite products until now. I made myself the chicken noodle for lunch and I have to say a I was quite pleased with the flavor. I don't know about you, but I've tried other lite soups and I have always had to add salt to help with the taste, which kind of defeats the purpose, but I did not add anything to this soup and the flavor was quite pleasing.

On Saturday I made the Clam Chowder, which for a canned clam chowder was pretty decent. Clam chowder has always been my least favorite canned soups, I usually make it from scratch and have found no canned soup that equals the taste of homemade, but this wasn't bad & a lot more easier to make, though it won't replace my home made clam chowder, it will be great just to have on hand for a busy day.

Now for the good news. Progresso has generously offered to give 1 of my readers a gift pack that contains a VIP coupon for a free can of Progresso soup, as well as a yoga mat, water bottle, set of aerobic bands, sport headband and two sport wristbands.
